THIS WEEK
This week I feel as though I’ve seen a LOT of misspellings online. In captions, in messages, in comments, in CVs (makes me come out in a cold sweat) and so on. I decided, as a result, to talk through a couple of them – also, these aren’t as a result of typos (which I can and do forgive, particularly when I make typos) but as a result of a misunderstanding of the words themselves. On we go.
TAUGHT vs THOUGHT
This mistake happens so, so often and truthfully – I get it. They’re almost homophones, BUT YET. THEY AREN’T.
